Fire Safety Tutor
Level 3 / Level 4
Join our growing team of fire safety tutors, delivering our high quality training, qualification and apprenticeship programmes. Enhancing the experience of Xact delegates with your own knowledge and experience through delivery. As well as the development of course materials in line with regulatory change and continuous improvement.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Practical experience working in the fire safety sector (minimum 3-5 years)
- Competence and experience of applying technical fire safety e.g. Article 50 Guidance, ADB, British Standards
- In depth knowledge and application of associated fire safety legislation (e.g. RR(FS) O etc.)
- A fire safety qualification or working towards e.g. Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety or equivalent fire safety/ fire risk assessment qualification
- A teaching qualification or working towards
Preferable
- Membership of relevant professional body e.g. IFE, IFSM etc.

- Able to work independently with confidence
- Evidence of awareness of learning styles, reasonable adjustments and additional needs support
- Have an understanding of Safeguarding responsibilities and creating a safe working environment
- Clean DBS Check (up to enhanced may be required for the role)
- Be prepared to travel regularly to Xact and customer locations, as and when required.
- Driving License
Additional Information
Working Hours: Full Time (40 hours a week)
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Location: Remote Working - Home address for delivering courses via our online delivery platform. As well as travel to customers locations to deliver training will also be required.
Start Date: ASAP
