Overview
This qualification offers a level 3 award in fire door inspection. Aiming to give delegates the required knowledge to effectively carry out fire door inspections. Achievement of this qualification will demonstrate occupational competency to inspect fire doors.
Target Audience
The qualification is ideal for those who intend to carry out fire door inspections a 'competent persons'. It is suitable for both in-house fire door inspectors and independent consultants.
Learners must be aged 18 or over to study this qualification.
Course Overview
The ABBE Level 3 Award in Fire Door Inspection requires learners to complete four mandatory units:
- Understand what is meant by a 'fire door'
- Understand regulations and standard for fire doors
- Prepare to undertake a fire door inspection
- Carry out a fire door inspection
