ADB Update

Approved Document B volumes 1 & 2 were amended in March 2025 to enhance building safety and comply with the changes to The Building Regulations 2010. This CPD session will cover the amendments for 2025 as well as future updates.

BS 9991 Update

This CPD session will cover the main changes in the new version, which includes: care homes, reaction-to-fire classifications, evacuation lifts, additional annexes, recommendations for single-stair buildings and much more.

BS 5839-1 Update

Updates to BS 5839-1 were released in April 2025 and replaces the 2017 version. The updated BS is intended to enhance the performance, give clarity and inclusivity to detection and alarm systems following recent fatal fires.
