We are delighted to announce that Xact has been granted Approved Centre status for fire safety qualifications by awarding body Skills for Justice.

Our SFJ Awards Centre Approval enables us to expand the range of qualifications we are able to offer customers. 

One of the first qualifications off the blocks following our training company’s new status  will be Level 3 Award in Fire Safety Management which is available from April. 

This is ground-breaking because it will be the first to measure competency for fire safety managers. 

Xact’s Trevor Norwood said: “We are looking forward to working with SFJ to assist in any way we can  in driving up levels of standards in the fire safety sector via good quality training and qualifications. Our new status will help Xact to play its part in the development of common standards whereby employers will have a benchmark for employee competence.” 

The company already has Approved Centre status with two other awarding bodies, Industry Qualifications and The Institution of Fire Engineers

SFJ Awards is approved by the Qualification Regulators to provide qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland
