Our training is designed to help organisations apply a systematic recognised approach to information gathering and processing.
It is based on the National Intelligence Model which is used by the police to convert information into intelligence.
The model promotes identification of patterns and trends and allows a fundamental approach to problem-solving.
It can be applied to any organisation to allow it to conduct its operations in a business-like fashion. Through adopting NIM, sound intelligence management structures can be put in place to identify and achieve objectives while tackling threats and vulnerabilities, making best use of often limited resources.
Compliance with the model also assists communications in partnership agreements and during meetings with organisations such as the police.
Many private and public organisations use the model or its adapted forms and expect those with whom they work to also have a NIM structure before exchanging intelligence.
We can help organisations apply the acknowledged business framework that is NIM to get more out of the information they collect and the way in which they communicate. To discuss how to apply the NIM to your organisation, please contact Xact
