Aim
Provide delegates with the core skills deployed within an intelligence management environment
Course content
Delegates should be able to:
- Explain the terms ‘information’, ‘intelligence’ and ‘evidence’
- Recognise key components of the Intelligence Cycle
- Understand the impact of relevant legislation within an intelligence environment
- Explain the principles of the National Intelligence Model and describe four key intelligence products
- Demonstrate 5 x 5 x 5 evaluation process
- Describe processes utilised in relation to information security
- Identify sensitive intelligence and how it is managed
- Demonstrate sanitisation and parallel processing in relation to sensitive intelligence
- Identify the various intelligence research sources available
- Produce assessed intelligence products
- Explain risk assessment and prioritisation
- Demonstrate effective briefing techniques
- Outline CPIA & PII in relation to the intelligence environment
- Explain intelligence officer evidence in court
