Xact Fire Engineering Consultant John Streets specialises in the fire safety management of buildings; their design and engineering solutions.
John is an advisor to Building Control, CFOA, British Standards and the Government and is directly involved in the codes of practice.
His specialisms include:
- Sprinklers – Commercial, residential and domestic (BS 9251)
- DD 9999 – Risk base building design
- Fire Engineering
- BS 5588 – Design, construction and use of buildings

John who has completed a three year secondment as a fire safety engineering tutor at the Fire Service College, Moreton-in-Marsh, is now a private consultant.
